You can need to emulate, on your computer, the working of a Texas Instrument (TI) graphing calculator for diverses reasons : by convenience when you work on your computer, your calculette TI serving you especially during your travels or to see how works the TI graphics calculators, before buying one;

To the date of writing those lines, Sourceforge.net proposes, in download on his site, a free tool ( GPL license) called TiEmu who emulates the working of the TI89 and TI Travels 200 graphing calculators on an computer equiped with Windows or Linux. Once the file is downloaded, click it to install TiEmu.

If GTK+ is not installed on your computer, TiEmu will propose you to install it automatically. In that case verify that you are well connected to internet, and click the OK command button.

Download the calculators OS

To emulate the working of TI89 and TI Voyage 200 calculators, TiEmu requires the presence, on your computer, of the operating systems (OS) of those calculators. Don't be anxious, those OS do not occupy many places and are contained in the files "os.v2u" for the TI Voyage 200, "os.89u" for the TI89 and "TI89Titanium_OS.89u" for the TI89 model titanium.
To the date of writing those lines, those files are proposed in free download on the Texas Instrument web site .

Click the link "Calculatrices graphiques", then the link "details" in the part "TI Voyage" (for instance ), then in the part "Téléchargements" click the link "Systèmes d'exploitation".
